CFFL History: Fantasy Bowl II

In 1986, the second year of the CFFL, the league expanded to 14 teams!  It was an onslaught of optometrists and wives...wait what?  Todd's Terrors, Martin's Maulers, Bacardi's Bums, Randy's Rebels (which later would change their name to Cabucki's Crush), Canton's Cobras, Pete's Pulverizers and wives like Amy's Astronomicals (Terrors) and the Jennifer's Jewels (Chislers).  And one neighbor friend of the Crew; Steve's Stooges.

This created the East Division and the North and South had 5 teams in them!  Winning the North was the Chislers of course, but they would not reach the Fantasy Bowl.  Instead it would be two new teams, Steve's Stooges and Martin's Maulers.  It was a lack luster Fantasy Bowl, won by the Stooges 17-9.  A small side note, owner of the Stooges was Steve Machcinski, the fire fighter that died fighting a fire here in Toledo back on January 26, 2014.

Dan Marino was league MVP with 44 TD passes
