CFFL History: Fantasy Bowl XV

It was the end of the decade and millennium. 1999.  Chislers were back and went 13-1 determined to return to the Fantasy Bowl.  They were led by surprise of the year Kurt Warner, who would be league MVP throwing for 41 TDs.  Chislers would have little trouble in the playoffs dispensing the Geriatrics to the nursing home 26-12 and then getting revenge on the Maulers in the semis 41-21.

The Power, who had become a force to reckon with since going to the Fantasy Bowl in 1993 were back.  Even though they snuck into playoffs at 7-7. They snuck past the Twins 24-23 and then the Animals 43-34 to make it to Fantasy Bowl XV.

Tim Dwight returns punt for TD and the win!

The Power was led by Marshal Faulk, who scored twice in the Fantasy Bowl, only to be matched by Chisler WR Patrick Jeffers.  They were down 26-25 late in the game.  It looked like the Chislers were going to win their first Fantasy Bowl.  But fate was with the Power.  With time running out, the Chislers punted with time running out.  Victory in their hands.  That's when Tim Dwight fielded a punt and ran 70 yards for a TD and a Power Victory!!!
