| Huge game in Week 1! |
1997 saw Brett Favre win another MVP award and the Crew winning the North at 11-3. They would lose in the first round to the East Division Champ Twins. Twins were on a a mission. They had made it to the previous two Fantasy Bowls, only to lose. This year would be different. (But not for the Jackals, who finished 1-13)
Mape's Apes in their second year in the CFFL managed to defeat the defending champ Bombers in Round 1 18-12 and then the Geriatrics 26-21 on their way to Fantasy Bowl XIII to take on the Twins. Twins would pull off the win, finally against the Apes, winning 17-7 in yet another low scoring Twin Fantasy Bowl...
