CFFL Week 12

CFFL Week 12 action:  Crew survive Crush and 17 points from Big Ben...Titans roll Juggs behind 16 from Brady and 12 from Julio Jones...Dragons and Cocktails battle in a game of super stiff QBs...Roulette win behind Kizer and Robby Anderson, wait what?...Krauts lose but look to win the East...Bums beat Ferrets...Killers beat Animals in an almost must win game for both teams...Chislers win a shoot out vs the Sinistars and have taken control of the North.  Winter is Coming...

Wrecking Crew 30  Crush 28 - Crew survive not only 17 points from Big Ben, but 5 from Boswell as the Crush just fell short by 2 points.  The loss could have squashed the Crush's playoff hopes...

Titans 42  Juggernauts 32 - Titans rack up 42 points behind 16 from Good Old Tom and 12 from Julio Jones.  The win keeps Titans in that three way tie for first in the South...
Good Old Tom threw for 16 points

Dragons 24  Cocktails 18 - Dak Prescott vs. Eli Manning.  Sure to be a great battle right?  Wrong!  Both came up empty and both will likely be benched next week.  Jared Goff and Matt Moore next week? Eh Boy...
Cue the circus music for both of these guys

Roulette 27  Killer Bees 15 - Roulette are depending on Kizer and Robby Anderson to win games?  How far the once Aaron Rodgers led Roulette team has fallen.  The win keeps the Roulette's slim playoff hopes alive.  And if Rodgers returns?  Hmmm....

Mayhem 33 Krauts 14 - Mayhem had to win to keep pace with the Dragons and Titans doing it with a solid running game behind Murray and Coleman (total 18 points).  The Krauts lost but still have a 2 game lead with 2 games to go in the East.

Bums 25  Ferrets 21 - The loss by the Ferrets have eliminated their slim slim playoff hopes.  Bums win has them tied with the Sinistars in the West.  Not bad for a team that half the time doesn't have a clue who they have in their lineup.

Rivers looking to lead the Chislers to the playoffs yet again
Killers 30  Animals 22 - Killers stay alive in the playoff hunt winning on a Lamar miller TD run late in the game and surviving Alex Collins on Monday night.  Both teams are now 6-6 one game behind their respective division leaders.

Chislers 50  Sinistars 40 - Chislers had to put up a lot of points to survive the Wilson and Graham show of the Sinistars (total of 20 points).  And Kamara who had 12 points.  Rivers (12), Brown (14) and Zuerlein (14) led the way and have the Chislers peaking at just the right time.

Playoff Outlook:

Division Leaders:                            Wild Card                           In the Hunt
Cherry's Chislers (7-5)                     Michigan Mayhem (7-5)    Russian Roulette (6-6)
Toledo Titans (7-5)                          Monclova Dragons (7-5)    Molotov Cocktails (6-6)
Kretz Krauts (8-4)                            Bacardi Bums (7-5)           Cam's Killers (6-6)
Stamm's Sinistars (7-5)                    Alex Animals (6-6)            Cabucki Crush (5-7)
                                                                                                     Killer Bees (5-7)

Could be a year with the most parity in a long time.  10 teams within one game of each other.  Anything can happen as we head into the final 2 week of the season with divisional games to wrap up the season.

Biggest Game next week:  Mayhem at Dragons - Both teams at 7-5 tied for first in the South.  Winner have a decidable advantage to win the division.  Last time they met in week 2 Dragons defeated them easily 38-20 led by 18 points from Crabtree.  Well this week they will have to do it with out Crabtree, suspended 1 game for his brawl inducing fight last week.
