CFFL Week 10

Week 10 is behind us.  Four weeks to go.  And still everyone is alive for the playoffs, albeit some with a very very slim chance and would have to win out (read; Wrecking Crew)...

Sinistars 40  Wrecking Crew 17
Wilson and Graham hooked up 2 times
Sinistars had little trouble handling the hapless Crew.  It was over before the weekend even started when the Sinistars QB Wilson hit Graham for 2 10 point connections.  Sinistars are now tied for first with the Bums at 6-4 in the west.

Titans 35  Roulette 27
The Titans came back after being down when Tom Brady scored 12 points on Sunday night and then Funchess caught 2 TDs on Monday night to seal the deal and put the Titans back in the win column. Who needs to worry about Defenses on byes or players that got benched still starting?  They are now in a three way tie in the South at 5-5.

Krauts 29  Dragons 23
Krauts move to a league best 8-2 after holding on to defeat the Dragons 29-23. The Dragons just needed Stills to score one TD on Monday night but he couldn't find the endzone despite Randy yelling that he was open in the endzone all game long... Cousins led all players with 16 big points in the win for the Krauts.  Dragons are in that three way tie at 5-5 in the South after their loss.
Kraut General Cousins

Killer Bees 43  Juggernauts 28
The Bees survived the Juggs QB Case Keenum's 16 points for the Juggs.  This was in large part to 23 points that were scored Sunday night and Monday night between  McCaffrey and Gostkowski.  The Bees victory keeps them only 1 game behind the three Sad Sack South leaders.

Cocktails 24  Mayhem 20
Cocktails held off the Mayhem to keep their wild card hopes alive and their hopes to catch the Krauts who have a 2 game lead in the East.  Robert "Ice Bucket" Woods came up huge catching 2 TD passes, one a 94 yard bomb! Goff may get in the Cocktail starting lineup yet!

Ferrets 46  Killers 19
The Ferrets had a rare offensive explosion scoring 46 points and kept their playoff hopes alive.  Stafford had 12 points including a TD pass to Golden "Taint" Tate for a 10 point connection.  Every player for the Ferrets scored expect for Deonte Thompson "Twins".

Animals 46  Bums 13
Don't you just love his antics???
Animals remained in the front of the North beating the lifeless Bums.  16 points from Newton on Monday night was just salt in the wound after the game was already over.  Mark Ingram ran for 3 TDs earning player of the week honors.

Chislers 23  Crush 17
Chislers handed the Crush their 3rd defeat in a row to keep pace with the Animals, remaining only 1 game behind.  Key to this game was Chisler kicker Greg "The Leg" Zuerlein's 15 points!  Crush have now fallen to 2 games from division leaders Sinsitars and Bums in the West.

Player of the Week:  Mark Ingram, Animals, 18 points.
