The inaugural CFFL Memorial Cup in Week 18 was a contest between each team plus it pitted division against division. The team with the most points will have free entry next year and the division with the most combined points would win the first ever Memorial Cup.
The Memorial Cup honors franchise owners that have passed on during the 37 years of the CFFL.
Jennifer Cherry - Owner of the Jennifer's Jewels, one of the original teams from the second year of the CFFL in 1986. The Jewels were in the league from 1986-1995 and went to 4 Fantasy Bowls, winning 2 of them over the Bums and Whammers.
Steve Machcinski - Owner of the Steve's Stooges was only in the league for 2 seasons (1986-1987), but in those two season they made the playoffs both years and won Fantasy Bowl II over the Maulers 17-9 winning a 12 pack of Jolt Cola.
