CFFL Week 3

Well the North finally got to play the South after all these years...they went 3-1 with only the Crew losing to the Dragons ruining the possible sweep.  Same in the West vs. East as the East went 3-1 and the Killers the only team from the West coming out victorious.

It was a happy Cam day!

Dragons 34  Wrecking Crew 32 - Both teams presented a decent balanced attack.  The Crew got TDs from 4 players and the Dragons got a self inflicted 10 point connection from Wilson.  Difference was the Crew got cute and picked up Bailey thinking he would light it up against the Bills.  He got ZERO! While "Jim Jay" Bullock had 3 points on the bench and would have won the game.

Animals 40  Killer Bees 28 - It was a "Happy Cam" Newton day for the Animals as he had 20 points.  Rodgers only had 2 TD passes and looks like he will hobble all year long with that bad knee.  Prater tried what he could to bring the Bees back with 14 points on Sunday Night.

Chislers 29  Mayhem 12 - In a game that could have been a monumental line up snafu, in the end it didn't matter at all.  Let me tell you what goes on in the Bunker.  The Chislers decided at 12:55 to bench Woods (and a 10 point connection) for Clement.  Everyone in the Bunker thought that was a mistake.  And it was.  Clement didn't score and Goff hit Woods for a TD as Chisler owner Rick Cherry lost is freaking mind!!  But as is typical with Chisler luck...it didn't matter.  Brown scored Monday night putting the game out of reach for Fitzpatrick and the Mayhem.

Ferrets 29  Titans 16 - This game went into the final day to be decided on Monday Night.  Big Ben didn't disappoint the Ferret Faithful as he threw 3 TD passes and thankfully none of them went to Titan WR "Aunt" JuJu Smith-Schuster.

Cams Killers 44 Roulette 20 - The Killers had little trouble handling the Roulette Sunday led by a huge game by Drew Brees.  Brees had 24 points including a late game dive for a TD and a 10 point connection to Ted Ginn Jr.

Cocktails 37  Crush 22 - Can the Cocktails or the Chiefs be stopped?  Out of the 37 points the Cocktails scored, 30 of them were from the Chiefs.  Mahomes 12, Hunt 12, and Watkins 6.  Is it the year of the Molotov Cocktail??

Juggernauts 43  Bums 41 - When Matt Ryan out scores Andrew Luck 22-4 you would think the Bums would be in good shape.   Not so fast my friend.  When 3 of  Ryan's scores go to Ridley that doesn't help the cause.  Add Hyde's  12 points and  suddenly the table turns.  Now that's what I call a counter!

Krauts 37  Sinistars 36 - In the closest game of the week the Krauts and Sinistars battled to the very end into Monday night.  Sinistars got 12 points from a reincarnated Peterson and 8 points from last year's MVP Wilson.  Mike Williams grabbed two big TDs for the Krauts.   With time running out and the Krauts down 36-31, Chris Godwin caught a 4 yard TD pass for the game winner 37-36!
