CFFL 2018 Week 2

Week 2 saw a couple of Fifty-burgers but not too many close games.  And three players with over 20 points.  This week was a much higher week in scoring, despite the kickers missing FGs and extra points.  But we will never eliminate kickers!!

The North:  Home of the fifty-burgers.  

Dig Dug blowing up Chislers

Wrecking Crew 52  Animals 27 - Between Stafford (12), Gordon (18) and Bullock (10) the Crew were practically to 50.  Stafford finally looked half way decent throwing 3 TDs and one to Golladay for a 10 point connection.

Ferrets 53  Chislers 39 - The Ferrets were the top scoring team of the week.  Big Ben had 19 big points and Dig Dug Diggs was blowing up Chisler players for 14 points.  All this ruined a huge game from Todd Gurley who scored 22 points for the Chislers.

The South:  Dragons take sole possession of first in the South

Hogan caught 2 10 point connections!

Dragons 20  Killer Bees 17 - Neither team seemed to want to score many points in this one.  Rodgers threw only one TD pass for the Bees.  Rivers outplayed him tossing 3 TDs in the win for the Dragons

Titans 35  Mayhem 26 - Titans got back on track  beating the Mayhem behind 2 huge 10 point connections by Brady to Hogan.  Lockett added 6 more late Monday but the game was already over with.  Mayhem had a disappointing day from their RBs Cook and Henry getting a big fat zero. 

The East: Separation begins in the East as Cocktails and Krauts go 2-0

Cocktails 42 Juggernauts 27 - As goes the Chiefs goes the Cocktails and so far that has worked out!  Mahomes tossed 6 TDs to earn Player of the Week honors.  Cocktails got 36 points this week from their Chief players alone.  Last week they got 34 points...

Krauts 34  Roulette 19 - 17 points from crowd favorite Kirk Cousins helped the Krauts dispense of the struggling Roulette.  Roulette have been hampered by having to start the Chinless Fuck Foles until Wentz returns. 

The West:  The same is happening in the West as the Sinistars and Crush also move to 2-0

AJ Green started the week right for the Sinistars

Crush 44  Bums 35 - Crush came a way with a victory in a close one.  Michael Thomas and Kelce both had a pair of TDs for the Crush.  Matt Ryan had 20 points in the loss for the Bums.  Kamara only had a 2 point conversion when the Bums really needed him..

Sinistars 41 Killers 27 - Killers were down 18 after Thursday when A.J. Green scored 3 times early for the Sinistars but still made it a game until Sunday and Monday night games when Rosas kicked in 7 points for the Sinistars and then Russell Wilson scored 8 points to lock it down.
