CFFL Week 7

Here is a brief recap of Week 7's action... sorry for the shortness and lateness of this article..

Game of the Week: Dragons 39 Titans 38
Floyd scores game winner
In game one of the Brother Battle home and home series, the Dragons won a nail biter!  After getting 10 points from Newton, 12 from Miller and 11 from "Todd Chontos" Santos, the Dragons were still trailing the Titans going into Monday Night 34-33.  The Dragons had Michael Floyd and the Raven D, while the Titans had Raven Kicker "Mother" Tucker.  It would look like the advantage would go to Titans.  But just like last week against the Crush, the Dragons were able to pull off another improbable win as Floyd caught a TD pass while Tucker only kicked in 4 points and the Ravens went for 2 on their final score of the game!!

Other home and home series:

Chislers 39 Animals 20 - Chislers took the first game from the Animals getting 26 points from Rivers and Gurley.  Another win and they are right back in the playoff hunt
Gurley scores 1 of his 2 TDs!

Ferrets 34 Wrecking Crew 28 - With 14 points from Brady, the Ferrets had no problem defeating the hapless Crew who have been in Fantasy Football Line Up Hell, never starting the right combo.

Cocktails 36  Roulette 22 - Cocktails keep pace with the Krauts with the first win in the Battle for Mother Russia.  Roulette need to get their potent 11 point connection of Ryan, Jones and Bryant going again.

Krauts 56 Juggernauts 20 - Per usual the Krauts beat up on their "friend" the Juggs getting 12 points from Jordan Reed and 16 from The Blair Walsh "Project"

Bees 40. Mayhem 32 - The Bees won the first game in OT when they got 8 points from back up kicker Andrew "Ball Park" Franks.  A wasted day for Mayhem WR Landry who had 2 big scores.

Crush 21 Mafia 11, Sinistars 21 Bums 11 - In one of the strangest coincidences, both games in the West were exact same score.  In fact they were both 15-11 going into the Monday Night game where the Crush got a TD from Forsett and Sinistars got a TD from John Brown.
