With three weeks in the books, we only have two teams still undefeated (Chislers and Krauts) and three teams winless (Titans, Killers, and Crush). Does that speaks to the parity of the CFFL? Let's keep that in mind for anyone ready to throw in the towel on the season after three weeks. No one is out of it!
Week 3 action:
Wrecking Crew 26 Legion 17
The Crew were able to easily come back and defeat the Legion. Harrison Butker's 10 points and Drake "Joker Face" London's 6 points did the trick. The Crew were lucky considering their "big" Houston Texan connections of Stroud, Nico Collins and Schultz managed just 4 points...
Animals 32 Crush 27
The Animals survived the initial outburst of scoring from the Crush on Thursday night when Rodgers hit Wilson for a 10 point connection and took a 14-0 lead. Animal running back Charbonnet scored twice and they got TD catches from both Metcalf and "Flying" St. Brown.

Chislers 53 Killers 26
With 6 of 8 players not playing until Monday night, the Chisler avalanche was inevitable. 5 out of the 6 scored with Josh Allen leading the way with 16 points! Ja'Marr Chase scored twice as well. By the time the avalanche was done the Killers were buried under 53 points!
Allen lighting it up with 16 points for Chiz |
Ferrets 33 Whales 29
This was a close one till the end. The Whales got another good performance out of Barkley scoring 14 points. The Ferrets countered with 2 TD catches from Amari Cooper. Then the teams would exchange TDs once again in the 4:00 window. Ferrets RB Gibbs would score followed by a TD catch by Marvin Harrision Jr. So going into Monday night, the Ferrets only lead by 2 points, 22-20. Ferrets kicker Tyler Bass would outscore Whales kicker McPherson 11-9 for the win!
Cooper got the scoring going for the Ferrets |
Sinistars 25 Warbirds 14
The Sinistars defeated a lackluster Warbird squad, behind 12 points from Brock Purdy. The Warbirds only points came from their QB Burrow (12) and kicker Carlson (a whopping 2 points). The Warbird running game, which has been their strength, came up empty. Achane and Etienne could not find the end zone.
Purdy tossed 3 TD passes for the Sinistars |
Cocktails 34 Killer Bees 14
A solid performance by the Cocktails. They started Malik Willis and he scored 10 points! Then both RBs scored (Akers and Montgomery) and even DeAndre Hopkins came back from the dead to score. Have we seen the end of Bees K, Justin "Mother" Tucker? He missed another FG and has struggled to make even 40 yarders...
Willis shut critics up scoring 10 points for Cocktails |
Dragons 37 Juggernauts 14
Kyren Williams led the Dragons to a big win over the Juggs. Williams scored from 3 and 4 yards out and then caught a 15 yard TD pass which ended in a flip into the end zone! Williams appears to have picked up where he left off last year. He has 5 TDs on the season already, scoring every week.
Williams flips in for the score! |
Krauts 36 Titans 35
The Titans fell short of pulling off the upset of the mighty Krauts. Krauts, led by a powerful running game of Derrick "King Rat Tail" Henry (12 points) and Bijan Robinson (6), had a 7 point lead going into Monday. Titans did have Ekeler. He would score a TD to pull them with in 1 point. Unfortunately, Ekeler left the game with a concussion and wouldn't return ending the Titans dream of an upset.
King Henry rumbled against the Titans. |
Player of the Week: Kyren Williams, RB, Dragons - 18 points
