CFHL Week 1 2022-23

 We have dropped the puck on the 2022-2023 Cherry Fantasy Hockey League!  We also have a new team.  The Buffalo Slapshots based out of South West Florida.  The Slapshots are loaded with Sabres and Lightning players.  "Draft what you know."

Here are Week 1 results:

The Crew led this match up all week and finally pulled away at the end winning almost all categories.  They were led by Pierre-Luc Dubois who had 3 goals, 4 assists and 2 PPP.  Their Bruins trio of Marchand, Pastrnak and Bergeron combined for 5 goals, 3 assists, 2 PPP and 23 hits!

White Mambas   4

Mambas' goal keeping helped them in the win as Igor Shesterkin had 3 wins and a SV% of .938.  Rantanen had 5 goals in the win as well!  Assassins did rack up the assists with 23 including 6 from Panarin "Bread".

Krampus fans not happy to start season

New expansion team Slapshots got the better of the Raisins led by Tage Thompson's 5 goals all in one game!  Nylander had a great week as well scoring 3 goals and 4 assists for the Slapshots.

Space Monkey Mafia  3

One team excelled on offense, the Space Monkeys, winning goals, assists and PPP.  The other team excelled between the pipes, getting 3 wins and a SV% of .925.  Linus "Van Pelt" Ullmark had a SV% of .981!

Amazingly these two teams tied  in both goals and assists with 7 goals and 14 assists.  The Krampus has some work to do with his goalie situation as he got zero wins in net.
