CFFL Week 2

 Week 2 are in the books and it was a painful week with many players going down with significant injuries.  Here is how things shook out in Week 2...

In the Great White North...

Wrecking Crew 57  Animals 25 - Crew rolled the Animals behind 16 points from Murray, 15 from Justin "Mother" Tucker and 12 from CMC.  This was after falling behind 12-0 Thursday with Animal RB Chubb scoring twice.  

Chislers 48  Ferrets 28 - Chislers rolling with their Bills players as Josh Allen begins to look like an MVP candidate, scoring 16 points and now has 30 on the season already.  He hooked up with Diggs "Dig Dug" for a 10 point connection. Ferrets only got 4 points from Lamar Jackson and Andrews.

In the Sad Sack South...

Killer Bees 49  Dragons 22 - In yet another blow out, Dak Prescott led the Bees with 22 points and almost single handed beat the Dragons.  Aaron Jones had another big week scoring 18 points for Bees.  Watson has been disappointing for the Dragons so far.  

Titans 19  Mayhem 13 - How did the Mayhem not win this game.  Down only 10 with Drew Brees and Tre'Quan Smith?  I mean Drew Brees should be able to get 10 points, right?  One pass to Smith and its game over. The Titans were able to hang on, and Brees only had one TD pass.  Goff for Titans threw 3 times to Higbee, who was on the Titans bench.  Start all the Rams and be done with it...

In the Eastern Bloc...

Juggernauts 65  Cocktails 48 - Juggernauts exploded for 65 points, and this was with Matt Stafford at QB!!  Ridley had 12, Jonnu Smith had 12 and kicker Koo had 15.  He also had Hunt on bench with 2 TDs.  Cocktails didn't roll over though and had all but one player score.  We could see a change at QB for the Cocktails with Tannehill pushing Big Ben for the number one spot...

Sinistars 44 Krauts 24 - Defending champs steam rolled the Krauts after the game was tied at 24.  That's when Russell Wilson took the field and promptly scored 20 points to make the game 44-24! Wilson now has 36 points and leads all QBs. 

In the Wild Wild West...

Iron Legion 42  Crush 35 - In probably the best game of the week, it was a back and forth affair that would have to be determined on Monday Night.  Rookie Legion QB Joe Burrow started things out with 12 points along with kicker Bullock who also had 12 points giving the Legion a 24-0 lead.  Crush would storm back on Sunday.  Leading the way was Matt "Shark Eyes" Ryan with 16 points.  They would take a 35-30 lead going into Monday night.  The Legion trailed by 5 going into MNF with only Kamara going versus the Saints/Crush D.  Kamara would score a 1 yard TD to win the game.  He would add another one later for good measure giving the Iron Legion the win and a 2-0 record!

Whales 35  Killers 11 - The Whales had little trouble with a lifeless Killers squad.  Whales got 9 from Mahomes and a pick 6 late from their Pats D.  Killers left 40 points on the bench which included 16 from Newton and 12 from Fournette.

Animals at Bees (-7) - Lot of points. Take the points and the Animals.

Chislers at Mayhem (+4) - 4 points not enough.  Take Chislers, lay the points

Ferrets at Titans (+1) - Late comeback by Ferrets, lay the point.

Sinistars at Killers (+12) - Killers are a mess.  Sinistars roll

Cocktails at Crush (+2) - Rocking chair win here.  Coctails -2.

Juggernauts at Legion (+4) - Could be close.  Take Legion.

Krauts at Whales (+3) - Krauts pissed, they go Whaling.
