Week 8 in the CFHL and we have some changes in the standings...
White Mambas vs. Goon Crew 5-1 - In the match up of the week, the Mambas easily handled the Goon Crew to take the lead in the Norris Division and push the Crew all the way down to 3rd. The Mambas had an incredible 17 PPP and Connor McDavid once again had a Star of the Week, kind of week.
Checkers vs. USSR 3-2-1 - Checkers were able to leap frog the Crew as well and get into 2nd place in the Norris with their victory over the Soviets. It came down to the very end of Sunday Night and was tied 2-2-2 as the USSR tied hits, but after further review they removed one hit by the USSR and thus the win by the Checkers.

Krampus Carols vs. California Raisins 4-2 - The Krampus is starting to come out as December nears. They had an impressive week in net getting 5 wins and .933 SV% from their goalies Hellebuyck and Rask!

Mayhem on Ice vs. AshBusters 5-1 - Mayhem are now in sole possession of first place in the Smythe division after the shellacking of the AshBusters. They had another great week between the pipes with Binnington and Bobrovsky getting 4 wins and .936 SV %
Greek Empire vs. Who Gives a Puck 3-3 - A tight game saw a good battle between Marchand for the Empire and Puck's Burakovsky. Both had 3 goals. Marchand got him by two in assists but both had 2 PPP.
Three Stars of the Week:
First Star: Connor McDavid, C, White Mambas - 4 goals, 3 assists, 3 PPP and 6 hits (His 4th Number One Star of the week and his second in a row!)
Second Star: Brad Marchand, F, Greek Empire - 3 goals, 4 assists, 2 PPP and 3 hits
Third Star: Tuukka Rask, G, Krampus Carols - 3 wins and SV% of .930
Goon of the Week: Tom Wilson, F, Assassins - 20 hits! (Second Goon of the Week in a row!)
