The CFFL Salutes to Service all month long... |
Only two weeks to go in the regular season! Where did the season go?? Back to division play this week. The "in the hunt" list is getting longer...
Here is what happened in last weeks action:
Titans 36 Bums 27 - Even with 2 10 point connections by Mayfield to Landry the Bums could't pull off the win as Block Head Darnold had 14 points for the Titans.
Surprised a toque with ball on top can fit on a block head |
Dragons 30 Crush 27 - With two TDs by Ingram the Dragons were able to come back and hold on against the Crush. Since when is Jameis Winston started over Tom Brady for the Crush? When Winston scores 12 and Brady only 4 that's when. Wait what?
Killers 44 Killer Bees 9 - Killer vs. Killer. The Killers are certainly making a run scoring over 40 points for second week in a row with 18 points from his Brown Brothers; Hollywood and John. AJ Brown also had a TD but was on the bench. They have battled back to be in the hunt for the playoffs.
Hollywood Brown scored twice for the Killers |
Mayhem 29 Sinistars 23 - This was the upset of the week as the Mayhem defeated the best team in the league! They did it with 2 Henry TD runs and had to hold off the Sinistars gold rush of 49ers (Coleman, McLaughlin and the defense).
Henry is a beast! "Get off me!" |
Ferrets 27 Juggernauts 14 - This game was 14-7 going into Monday Night. By the end of Monday night the Ferrets had a 27-14 victory after 5 TD passes by Lamar Jackson. They have now moved past the Cocktails for the number 2 seed in the playoffs as we stand today.
Wrecking Crew 40 Cocktails 25 - After a disappointing start on Thursday night by the Crew's Colts, they didn't have a problem Sunday getting 12 from McCaffrey and 12 from Godwin. It helped too that the Chiefs were on a bye, although not sure Mahomes could have done much better than Tannehill's 20 points for the Cocktails.

Animals 46 Roulette 15 - Hopkins scored 12 points in the gimme game for the Animals against the MIA Roulette.
Krauts 28 Chislers 14 - The defending champ Chislers don't seem to have that Chislers luck lately as their typically potent Ram players have completely cooled off.
Lauren Tannehill (Its good to have Ryan back) |
Co-Players of the Week: Lamar Jackson, QB, Ferrets and Ryan Tannehill, QB, Cocktails - 20 points
