CFFL Week 4

We’re a quarter of the way through the season, and the picture is starting to take shape. The Animals and Juggernauts stand tall at a perfect 4-0, while the Cocktails are still chasing that elusive first win after falling in overtime heartbreak. Let’s dive in:

Wrecking Crew (1-3) 36 – Dominators (1-3) 24

The Crew finally get into the win column! Drake “Joker Face” London found the end zone for the first time this season, and the Crew capitalized on a dominant outing. Meanwhile, the Dominators simply couldn’t overcome goose eggs from both their QB and kicker—tough to win when you’re playing 6 vs. 8.

Joker Face finds the end zone for first time!

Chislers (3-1) 54 – Killer Bees (2-2)

The Chisler offense exploded. Rookie RB Ashton Jeanty dropped 18 points, Josh Allen added 14 more, and the Chislers hung a league-high 54 points on the Bees. Bo Nix tried to mount a Monday rally with 14 points of his own, but there was no catching this buzzsaw.

Rookie Jeanty scores 3 TDs!

Animals (4-0) 30 – Dragons (1-3) 23

The Animals stayed perfect thanks to “Flying” St. Brown’s 2 TDs and a Lions special teams score. The Dragons fought but couldn’t slay the North leaders, who now hold a one-game edge over the Chislers.

Animals' St. Brown finds the end zone twice in win

Warbirds (2-2) 36 – Ferrets (2-2) 30

What a comeback! Trailing late, the Warbirds struck back with two TD grabs from George Pickens to tie it at 30. Then on Monday night, Courtland Sutton hauled in the game-winner to deliver a huge momentum-shifting victory.  Side note, Ferrets benched Prescott who scored 18 points on the bench...

Sutton with the game winning TD!

Sinistars (3-1) 35 – Lunatics (1-3) 33

Don’t let the record fool you—the Lunatics are no pushover. Goedert (12) and Butker (13) kept them in it, but Patrick Mahomes’ 16-point day carried the Sinistars to a narrow win.

Mahomes tosses 16 points in Sinistar win

Iron Legion (3-1) 41 – Cocktails (0-4) 34 (OT)

Heartbreak for the Cocktails. Jordan Love forced OT with 12 points, but the Legion had answers: a blocked punt return for a TD and, fittingly, kicker Nick Folk delivering 7 points in overtime to seal it. The Cocktails remain winless despite showing life.

Eagles Special Teams return blocked punt for TD!

Juggernauts (4-0) 41 – Whales (2-2) 33

The Juggs keep on rolling. Josh Jacobs “Jingleheimerschmidt” punched in two late TDs to complete the comeback after the Whales had surged ahead. Chase Brown had one last shot to keep the Whales alive on Monday but couldn’t break through. Juggs stay undefeated atop the East.

Jacobs scores twice for the Juggs in the win

Krauts (2-2) 25 – Killers (1-3) 20

The defending champs clawed back to .500 with Stafford tossing 12 points. The Killers’ RB woes continue—Chubb was blanked, and Dobbins rushed for 101 yards but never found paydirt. That lack of scoring cost them dearly.

Stafford scores 12 points in the Kraut win!

💪 Player of the Week:

Ashton Jeanty, RB, Chislers - 18 points

🏆 Week 4 Power Rankings

1. Animals (4-0) – Still king of the jungle. “Flying” St. Brown is soaring, Lamar is cooking, and even the Lions’ special teams chipped in. Until proven otherwise, the road to the North runs through them.

2. Juggernauts (4-0) – Jacobs came up clutch with two late TDs to keep them perfect. Shrader’s golden leg remains a weapon. They’re not just surviving—they’re winning in style.

3. Chislers (3-1) – Ashton Jeanty announced himself to the league with 18 points, while Josh Allen reminded everyone who’s boss. A 54-spot will move you up fast.

4. Sinistars (3-1) – Mahomes plus JT equals headaches for opponents. Another tight win shows this squad knows how to finish. Dangerous when they click.

5. Iron Legion (3-1) – OT heroics from Folk keep Legion in the contender circle. Their defense/special teams are producing every week, which makes them a tough out.

6. Warbirds (2-2) – Huge rally with Pickens and Sutton delivering late. Burrow’s health is a concern, but the Warbirds showed they’ve got grit.

7. Whales (2-2) – Hurts + McLaughlin nearly took down the Juggs. They’re inconsistent but scary when the stars align.

8. Krauts (2-2) – Defending champs steady the ship back to .500. Stafford did just enough, but this team still feels a step behind last year’s form.

9. Ferrets (2-2) – Aubrey keeps booting points, but benching Prescott torpedoed their Week 4 chances. Need more consistency at QB.

10. Lunatics (1-3) – Close but not quite. They’re showing flashes beyond “expansion team” status, but learning how to close games will be key.

11. Wrecking Crew (1-3) – Finally off the schneid! Still, coaching blunders and thin depth make it tough to believe in a long run.

12. Dragons (1-3) – Etienne and Kyren give them a spark, but it’s been uphill sledding all year. At least they’re not the bottom team.

13. Killers (1-3) – RB woes everywhere, and Dobbins can’t even score despite 100+ yards. Injuries piling up—it’s getting dark early.

14. Cocktails (0-4) – Another week, another heartbreak. Four close losses, but 0-4 is 0-4. This is the “best bad team” in the league, but the clock is ticking.
