Chislers 41 – Wrecking Crew 32
The Crew held a 32-21 lead going into Sunday night, but Josh Allen (20 points) picked up right where his MVP season left off, leading a Chislers comeback. Baker chipped in 12 points in the loss, including a quirky 10-point hookup with rookie Bucky “Bukees” Irving. The scoreline doesn’t show how close this one really was.

Animals 29 – Ferrets 15
The Ferrets carried a 15-9 lead into the primetime games with no players left, and the Animals had plenty of ammo. Lamar Jackson (14) erased the deficit, then Aaron Jones iced it with a Monday night TD grab. Jake Moody “Blues” missed two FGs for the Ferrets—though it wouldn’t have changed the outcome.

Lamar a good start for the Animals
Warbirds 27 – Dragons 17
Warbirds managed the W despite a sluggish start from Joe Burrow. Bijan Robinson’s 50-yard TD justified their first-round pick, while Ja’Marr Chase stayed quiet. On the Dragons’ bench, Aaron Rodgers (16) outscored starter Tua’s dud, possibly setting up a QB controversy for Week 2.

Killer Bees 37 – Dominators 24
The Dominators scrambled to get a lineup in but jumped ahead thanks to two early Javonte Williams TDs. The Bees struck back with RBs De’Von Achane and James Cook both finding the end zone, while rookie Emeka Egbuka hauled in two scores. The sting was too much for the shaky Dom start.
Great start by the rookie Egbuka
Juggernauts 28 – Sinistars 21
Sinistars got all 21 points from Mahomes and kicker Matt Prater, but it wasn’t enough. The Juggs rode a Brock Purdy-to-Kittle 10-point connection (plus another 8 points total). Unfortunately, Kittle pulled a hamstring and could miss time, but both squads showed strong depth with plenty of points left on the bench.

Purdy and Kittle questionable next week
Krauts 25 – Cocktails 23
The Cocktails had a comfy 23-6 lead but couldn’t hold off the defending champs. Derrick “King Rat Tail” Henry’s two TDs closed the gap, and Vikings kicker Reichard sealed it with a pair of MNF field goals. Side note: Cocktails started rookie QB Daniels (4) over Jordan Love (8)…which would have been the difference. A short-term regret, but maybe the right call long-term.

Iron Legion 47 – Killers 24
The Legion came out swinging with the week’s top score. J.J. McCarthy (15), including a 10-point hookup with Justin Jefferson, led the charge. Add in TDs from Saquon Barkley and James Conner, and the Killers never stood a chance. A scary start for the rest of the league.

Whales 23 – Lunatics 17
The expansion Lunatics showed some fight, but in the end, it was QB Jalen Hurts who carried the Whales to victory with two rushing TDs. The Lunatics got all 17 from Kyler Murray and Harrison Butker, while the Whales’ WR corps failed to produce. Still, when you’re facing an expansion team, it didn’t matter this week.
