CFFL Week 8

🏈 CFFL Week 8 Recap: Through the Home-and-Home and Onto the Back Nine

The first half of the season is in the books, and after the home-and-home series, things are starting to separate. Five teams completed sweeps, while others look ready to pack it in and start scouting for next year’s draft. Let’s dive into what went down in Week 8.

🦁 Animals (6-2) 20 – Wrecking Crew (2-6) 14

The Animals took care of business, sweeping the struggling Crew to grab sole possession of first place in the North. It wasn’t pretty—neither QB (Mayfield or Cousins) scored a point—but sometimes you just have to survive and advance. The Crew? Once a contender, now just playing out the string.

🛠️ Chislers (5-3) 35 – Ferrets (5-3) 32

The Chislers avoided the sweep in dramatic fashion thanks to Tucker Kraft’s clutch Sunday Night TD. Monday came and went with neither Washington running back helping either side, sealing the deal. A huge bounce-back for the Chislers after getting roasted in the first meeting.

🐝 Killer Bees (4-4) 47 – Dragons (3-5) 22

The Bees stung back hard, obliterating the Dragons to split the series. Bo Nix continues to hum with 16 points, while James Cook rumbled for 12 more. The Dragons, meanwhile, look lost—another year, another rebuild on the horizon.

🦅 Warbirds (4-4) 25 – Dominators (3-5) 17

Another home-and-home split as the Warbirds took flight behind Justin Herbert’s 12 points early and 13 clutch points from kicker Boswell late. Even with Breece Hall putting up 16 on the bench, they still got it done. Meanwhile, the Woody "Skid" Marks Experiment” may be officially grounded.

🍸 Cocktails (2-6) 35 – Juggernauts (5-3) 29

Don’t look now, but the Cocktails have life! After starting 0-6, they’ve ripped off two straight wins, and both came at the expense of the Juggs. Jordan Love tossed in 13 points, and the Cocktails swept the once-mighty Juggernauts. The bar is open again in Cocktail Nation.

🌟 Sinistars (6-2) 31 – Krauts (3-5) 24

The Sinistar train keeps rolling—sweeping the defending champs while scoring 99 points across two weeks. Jonathan Taylor is officially on fire, scoring three TDs for the third straight game. The Krauts’ title defense is fading fast, and they’re dangerously close to panic mode.

⚔️ Iron Legion (5-3) 39 – Lunatics (2-6) 36

The Legion held on in a thriller, completing the sweep over their division rivals. Barkley’s 12 points made the difference as the Lunatics’ comeback bid fell just short. Hunt and Butker nearly pulled it off Monday night, but the Legion stay in the West hunt at 5-3.

💀 Killers (4-4) 40 – Whales (5-3) 39

Game of the Week material right here. The Killers bounced back from last week’s blowout loss to the Whales by beating them by one this time around. Jaxson Dart threw for 10, and even Boutte and Xavier Hutchinson (seriously, who?) found the end zone. Gutty win for the Killers; tough loss for the Whales, who miss a chance to pull away in the West.

🏆 CFFL Week 8 Power Rankings

(Through the Home-and-Home and Halfway Point)

1️⃣ Sinistars (6-2)

🔥 Last Week: 2 | Trend: 🔼 Up
The Sinistars are absolutely cooking. Three straight weeks of Jonathan Taylor scoring three touchdowns each, and Mahomes hasn’t even gone full Mahomes yet. They’ve outscored everyone the last two weeks and look like the most complete team in the league.

2️⃣ Animals (6-2)

🐾 Last Week: 1 | Trend: 🔽 Down
The Animals hold the North lead but have cooled slightly. The offense is still dangerous with “Flying” St. Brown and Lamar, but the passing game has gone a little quiet. They’re winning ugly — but they’re winning.

3️⃣ Juggernauts (5-3)

💪 Last Week: 3 | Trend: ➡️ Steady
After an early season surge, the Juggs have hit a midseason speed bump. Still an elite roster, but two straight losses — including one to the previously winless Cocktails — have the alarm bells softly ringing. Time to reassert dominance in Week 9.

4️⃣ Ferrets (5-3)

🐿️ Last Week: 4 | Trend: ➡️ Steady
They dropped 70 points just two weeks ago and are still one of the most explosive teams in the CFFL. Dak and Gibbs are clicking, and kicker Aubrey continues to be a weekly weapon. But that narrow loss to the Chislers might sting later in tiebreakers.

5️⃣ Iron Legion (5-3)

⚔️ Last Week: 6 | Trend: 🔼 Up
They don’t win pretty, but they win gritty. Barkley keeps them grounded, and that defense/special teams always seems to show up when needed. After sweeping the Lunatics, they’re quietly sitting in first tied with the Whales.

6️⃣ Chislers (5-3)

💰 Last Week: 7 | Trend: 🔼 Up
Classic Chislers — written off one week, then winning late with some miracle TD the next. Tucker Kraft saves the day this time. They’re right in the thick of the North race and still finding new ways to frustrate the rest of the league.

7️⃣ Whales (5-3)

🐋 Last Week: 5 | Trend: 🔽 Down
Got buzzsawed by the Killers but still one of the top scoring teams in the league. Hurts and “Turd” Ferguson have been steady, but the defense let them down this week. They’ll regroup — this team’s too deep to slide far.

8️⃣ Killer Bees (4-4)

🐝 Last Week: 9 | Trend: 🔼 Up
Bo Nix looks like the real deal, and Cook is heating up. They’re buzzing again after a 47-point outburst. If the Bees can find some defensive consistency, they could make a playoff run in the wide-open South.

9️⃣ Killers (4-4)

💀 Last Week: 11 | Trend: 🔼 Up
A week after getting crushed, they bounce back and take down the Whales by one. Jaxson Dart and a couple of random receivers (looking at you, Hutchinson) led the way. This team has heart — and that counts in the CFFL.

🔟 Warbirds (4-4)

🦅 Last Week: 10 | Trend: ➡️ Steady
Herbert and Boswell delivered in the clutch, and the Warbirds claw back to .500. But they’re still unpredictable — capable of beating anyone or losing to anyone. Classic midseason enigma team.

11️⃣ Dominators (3-5)

👑 Last Week: 12 | Trend: 🔼 Up
They got a win in Week 7, then fell again in Week 8, but the offense has at least shown some signs of life. Pollard and Javonte can carry them if the QB spot doesn’t implode.

12️⃣ Cocktails (2-6)

🍸 Last Week: 16 | Trend: 🚀 Up
They’re alive! After six straight losses, the Cocktails have shaken, stirred, and served up back-to-back wins, including a sweep of the Juggernauts. Jordan Love finally clicking, and the league is officially on notice.

13️⃣ Krauts (3-5)

🇩🇪 Last Week: 8 | Trend: 🔽 Down
The champs are flat. Stafford and McCaffrey are doing their jobs, but the magic from last season just isn’t there. They’ve got to right the ship fast before the playoff window closes completely.

14️⃣ Dragons (3-5)

🐉 Last Week: 13 | Trend: 🔽 Down
Rodgers shows flashes, but this team looks lost more often than not. Their inconsistency is killing them, and morale might be slipping. Could be time to think about 2025.

15️⃣ Lunatics (2-6)

🌀 Last Week: 14 | Trend: 🔽 Down
They fight hard and stay close but can’t close the deal. There’s talent here, but the learning curve is steep in Year One. Still, they’ve earned some respect around the league.

16️⃣ Wrecking Crew (2-6)

💥 Last Week: 15 | Trend: 🔽 Down
What in the world happened to the Crew? Once feared, now fumbling. Two straight losses to the Animals, no QB production, and no spark. It’s gone from “retool” to full-on rebuild territory.

CFFL Updates Week 6 and 7

Since I was in Vegas last week here is a quick recap on where we are at after Week 6 and 7. Divisions are starting to take shape. Week 7 saw a 68 point total and a 70 point total!!

⏫In the North

The Animals and Ferrets share the lead at 5-2.

Ferrets were able to dispense of the Dragons in a close one In Week 6 27-21 behind Dak's 12 points and in Week 7, holy cow! To begin the home and home series against the Chislers they dropped 70 points on them, winning 70-19. Yeah Josh Allen was on a bye, but I don't think he could have even made a difference. He got 12 from Dak, 12 from Gibbs, 12 from McBride and 14 from kicker Aubrey.

Animals however were able to bounce back from their 31-25 loss to the Warbirds in Week 6 by holding
off the Wrecking Crew 28-27. Crew mounted a comeback with 12 points from Charbonnet "I like Charbonnet" late Monday night, but came up 1 point short. Rice back on the playing field scored 12 points for the Animals in the win. Crew now a miserable 2-5.

Chislers still in it at 4-3 thanks to a shutout of the Dominators in Week 6, 32-0. This is the first ever shutout in CFFL history. (as far as we can remember)

🌴In the South

The South remains on-brand — every team under .500 at 3-4, perfectly living up to its reputation as the league’s “weakest division.”

After battling the North in Week 6 (Bees and Warbirds getting wins over Crew and Animals, while Dragons and Dominators losing to the Ferrets and Chislers) they begin their home and home series.

Last week Dominators scored 0 points, this week the Bees scored only 2 points in their loss to the Dragons who got 16 big points from Rodgers.

Dominators offense bounced back from being shut out last week scoring 39 points beating the Warbirds 39-33. They got two 10 point connections from Rattler to Olave! I don't think that was on anybody's draft boards back in August!

💣In the East

It is becoming a two horse race in the East. The Juggernauts and the Sinistars now lead the way both at 5-2.

The Juggernauts moved past the Lunatics of the West in Week 6 behind 12 points from Josh Jacobs "Jinglehiemerschmidt". But then suffered only their second loss to the winless Cocktails in the opening of the home and home series. 18 points from Quinshon Judkins helped the Cocktails get off the schnide.

When you score 48 points you feel pretty good about getting the in. Well not the Krauts. With 20 points from Stafford, 12 from McCaffrey and 16 from kicker Reichard it wouldn't be enough to survive
the Sinistar onslaught of 68 points! Mahomes had 12 but both Jonathan Taylor and Davante Adams had 18 points each! Krauts at 3-4 definitely having a Fantasy Bowl Championship hangover...

🌊In the West

It is still a little tight in the West, but the Whales have a one game lead over the Legion.

The Whales are rolling scoring 50 plus points over the past two weeks. Week 6 saw them defeat the Sinistars 52-26 behind a huge game from rookie Cam Skattebo and then this week 51-10 over the Killers thanks to a pair of 12 point performances by Hurts and "Turd" Ferguson.

The Legion, a game back, are far less proficient. Losing to the Krauts 33-10, and then edging the Lunatics 20-13, getting no points from their QB Wentz or star RB Barkley.

Killers showed some promise a week ago beating the then winless Cocktails 28-15 with 8 points from Goff, but this week they ran into the Whales buzzsaw and then had Mike Evans get injured again in his first game back from the hammy injury...

🧭 CFFL Power Rankings – Week 7 Edition

The standings tell one story. The Power Rankings tell the truth.

🥇 1. Sinistars (5-2)

🔥 Last Week: 68 points, pure domination.
This team is an absolute wagon. Mahomes is steady, but it’s the combo of Jonathan Taylor and Davante Adams that makes this squad terrifying. When your kicker scores double digits and you still drop 68, that’s elite depth. Run cowards!

🥈 2. Ferrets (5-2)

Last Week: 70 points, and no mercy shown.
They didn’t just beat the Chislers—they embarrassed them. Dak has been money, Gibbs is hitting his stride, and kicker Aubrey might be the most consistent player in the league. They’re surging at the perfect time.

🥉 3. Animals (5-2)

Back on track with a one-point nail-biter.
After a stumble in Week 6, the Animals clawed their way past the Crew. Rashee Rice’s return gives their offense new life, but they’ve shown cracks. Still a dangerous, balanced roster capable of beating anyone.

4. Whales (5-2)

The ocean is calm—and deadly.
The Whales have quietly become one of the most complete teams in the league, averaging over 50 points in their last two games. Hurts, "Turd" Ferguson, and Skattebo "Boo" are leading a sneaky powerhouse.

5. Juggernauts (5-2)

Juggs jugged by the winless Cocktails.
A surprising loss knocked them down a peg, but let’s not panic. Jacobs and a solid supporting cast keep them among the elite.

6. Chislers (4-3)

From historic shutout to historic beatdown.
One week, they pitch the first shutout in league history. The next, they give up 70. The inconsistency is maddening—but the talent’s there. They just need that Chisler luck to return.

7. Krauts (3-4)

The hangover is real.
They’re still putting up points, but can’t buy a break. When you score 48 and still lose, it’s not your year. The champs are talented, just unlucky—and the Sinistars reminded them how far they’ve fallen.

8. Dominators (3-4)

From 0 points to 39—talk about a rebound.
The Rattler-to-Olave combo was lightning in a bottle. If that continues, they could rise fast. But this team is unpredictable—dominant one week, invisible the next.

9. Warbirds (3-4)

Flying just below the radar.
They’ve been in every game but haven’t quite broken through. Herbert has to play better if they want to stay in contention. That 33-point output in Week 7 was nice, but consistency is the issue.

10. Dragons (3-4)

Breathing just enough fire to stay alive.
A good win over the Bees keeps hope alive. But they’ll need more than Rodgers’ 16 points to compete with the Ferrets and Animals of the world.

11. Iron Legion (4-3)

Clunky but competitive.
The Legion are grinding out wins despite no-shows from key stars. Barkley and Wentz combining for zero is unacceptable. They’re in the playoff mix, but the offense has to wake up.

12. Wrecking Crew (2-5)

Wrecked more than wrecking.
Two straight heartbreakers have this team reeling. Baker and Charbonnet are doing what they can, but the Crew are finding new ways to lose.

13. Killer Bees (3-4)

Two points. That’s it.
There’s not much buzz left in the hive. When your entire team scores two points, it’s time to look in the mirror.

14. Cocktails (1-6)

🍸 Finally off the schneid!
It took seven weeks, but the Cocktails finally got that elusive first win. Judkins looks like a keeper, and 48 points is a reason to toast. Still, the climb back to relevance will be a steep one.

🏈Week 8 look ahead

Let's take a look at the back end of the dreaded home and home series...

Wrecking Crew at Animals (+1) If only the Crew could have pulled off game 1 and make right lineup decisions. Its do or die for the Crew now. Take Animals.... 😞

Chislers at Ferrets (-10) Clearly an over reaction in the market. Allen is back and Chislers bounce back and split the series

Dragons at Bees (+1) Can the Dragons complete the sweep? I wouldn't count on Bees scoring only 2 points again. Grab the point and the Bees

Warbirds at Dominators (+2) Will the Rattler to Olave connection continue? If it does I see another win.

Juggernauts at Cocktails (+15) There is blood in the water and the Cocktails smell it. A sweep would go a long way in getting back into the mix. Take the 15!

Sinistars at Krauts (+3) Usually after a shoot out you get a low scoring game. Take the Krauts in a slugfest.

Legion at Lunatics (+10) Chapter two in the brother battle. I wouldn't lay 10 but Legion get the sweep.

Killers at Whales (-17) Whales are rolling, Killers continue to reel with injuries. 17 points is a lot to lay, but expect the Whales to dominate again.

CFFL Week 5

🏈 CFFL Weekly Recap – Week 5

“The Giants Fall, the Chaos Rises”

Two undefeated teams went down, one winless team stayed that way, and the league standings just got a whole lot tighter. Here’s how it all shook out in a wild Week 5:

Wrecking Crew (2-3) 25 – Warbirds (2-3) 16

The Crew made it back-to-back wins, grinding out a 25-16 victory over the Warbirds. Baker Mayfield delivered 9 tough points and Zach Charbonnet “I like Charbonnet” punched in another score. The Warbirds were grounded by Justin Herbert’s disappointing 4-point outing and a goose egg from Woody “Skid” Marks.

Ferrets (3-2) 41 – Killer Bees (2-3) 35

QB roulette finally worked for the Ferrets, who started Dak Prescott over Trevor Lawrence. Both scored 16, but Prescott’s early points helped hold off the surging Bees. A.J. Barner’s 12 points kept things close, but the Ferrets clawed their way to 3-2.

Dragons (2-3) 35 – Chislers (3-2) 31

No Chisler luck this week! Kyren Williams found the end zone twice early to give the Dragons control, and Tua Tagovailoa chipped in 12 more. The Chislers had one last chance Monday night—just a TD from Marquise “Hollywood” Brown would’ve done it—but he came up empty.

Dominators (2-3) 40 – Animals (4-1) 25

The Dominators ended the Animals’ perfect season with a wildcat win. No QB? No problem. Javonte Williams (12) and Tony Pollard (6) led the way in a balanced attack, handing the mighty Animals their first loss of 2025.

Sinistars (4-1) 56 – Iron Legion (3-2) 25

The Sinistar steamroller struck again. Eddy Pineiro booted 14 on Thursday, Jonathan Taylor exploded for 20, and even newly acquired Nick Chubb scored after being scooped off waivers. The Legion never stood a chance as the Sinistars posted the highest score of the week.

Whales (3-2) 44 – Cocktails (0-5) 27

The slide continues for the Cocktails—now a franchise-worst 0-5 start. Jake “Turd” Ferguson found the end zone twice, and kicker McLaughlin chipped in 12 more for the Whales. The Cocktails keep fighting, but moral victories don’t count in the standings.

Killers (2-3) 24 – Juggernauts (4-1) 18

The Juggs’ perfect season is no more. With multiple starters sidelined, the offense sputtered. The Killers pounced behind Jared Goff’s 12 points and a long-awaited TD from J.K. Dobbins. A statement win for a team desperate to stay in the hunt.

Lunatics (2-3) 38 – Krauts (2-3) 29

Fantasy Bowl hangover confirmed? The defending champ Krauts fall below .500 again after a furious Lunatics rally. Kareem Hunt took over late Monday with two TDs, sealing a 38-29 comeback victory for the expansion squad.

Jonathan Taylor, RB, Sinistars – 20 points

A dominant performance that powered the Sinistars to their fourth win and sent a message to the rest of the league.

🏆 CFFL Power Rankings – Week 5

1. Sinistars (4-1) ⬆️
The Sinistar steamroller has arrived. Jonathan Taylor went nuclear, Pineiro can’t miss, and they’re scoring at will. They’ve outscored everyone the past two weeks—right now, they’re the team to beat.

2. Animals (4-1) ⬇️
Finally human. The loss to the Dominators stings, but Lamar and “Flying” St. Brown are still the league’s most explosive duo. Expect a bounce-back performance next week.

3. Juggernauts (4-1) ⬇️
The perfect record is gone, and the offense looked sluggish. Missing key players hurt, but this team’s depth usually keeps them dangerous. A small stumble, not a collapse.

4. Chislers (3-2) →
They finally ran out of Chisler Luck, but this is still a high-powered squad. Jeanty and Josh Allen can erupt any week. Still a threat in the North.

5. Iron Legion (3-2) ⬇️
Ran into the Sinistar buzzsaw, but still one of the most balanced teams around. They’ll regroup fast—especially if the defense keeps scoring.

6. Ferrets (3-2) ⬆️
QB musical chairs or not, they’re finding ways to win. Prescott looked sharp, Aubrey is automatic, and this team feels more stable each week.

7. Whales (3-2) ⬆️
Two straight wins and solid play from Hurts and McLaughlin. The WRs are heating up, and “Turd” Ferguson might have just become a weekly play.

8. Krauts (2-3) ⬇️
The champs are in trouble. The spark from last season is missing, and the Lunatics stunned them late. They need a Derrick Henry takeover soon to right the ship.

9. Dragons (2-3) ⬆️
A much-needed win over the Chislers keeps their season alive. Tua and Kyren Williams are finding rhythm—maybe the fire’s finally lit.

10. Dominators (2-3) ⬆️
No QB, no problem. The run game and defense got it done against the previously undefeated Animals. If they can find steady QB play, this team could surge.

11. Killers (2-3) ⬆️
Goff delivered and Dobbins scored—two things this team desperately needed. Still banged up, but they’re scrapping to stay relevant.

12. Wrecking Crew (2-3) ⬆️
Two straight wins and finally some life. Baker and Charbonnet are doing just enough, but can the Crew keep it rolling? We’ve seen this movie before…

13. Lunatics (2-3) ⬆️
Don’t look now—the expansion team has back-to-back wins and just took down the defending champs. They’re scrappy, unpredictable, and fun to watch.

14. Cocktails (0-5) ⬇️
The heartbreak tour continues. Five losses, most of them close. The roster’s talented, but at this point, they just need something to go right.

One week go 7-1, last week go 2-6. Ouch

Krauts at Legion (+4) Things not getting any easier for Krauts. Grab home team here plus the points

Juggernauts at Lunatics (-19) Keep eye on this line. Should get shorter as the week goes, but if it stays 19 take the Juggs plus the points!

Cocktails at Killers (+2) Could this be the week the Cocktails get first win. I am thinking yes. Lay the 2

CFFL Week 4

We’re a quarter of the way through the season, and the picture is starting to take shape. The Animals and Juggernauts stand tall at a perfect 4-0, while the Cocktails are still chasing that elusive first win after falling in overtime heartbreak. Let’s dive in:

Wrecking Crew (1-3) 36 – Dominators (1-3) 24

The Crew finally get into the win column! Drake “Joker Face” London found the end zone for the first time this season, and the Crew capitalized on a dominant outing. Meanwhile, the Dominators simply couldn’t overcome goose eggs from both their QB and kicker—tough to win when you’re playing 6 vs. 8.

Chislers (3-1) 54 – Killer Bees (2-2)

The Chisler offense exploded. Rookie RB Ashton Jeanty dropped 18 points, Josh Allen added 14 more, and the Chislers hung a league-high 54 points on the Bees. Bo Nix tried to mount a Monday rally with 14 points of his own, but there was no catching this buzzsaw.

Animals (4-0) 30 – Dragons (1-3) 23

The Animals stayed perfect thanks to “Flying” St. Brown’s 2 TDs and a Lions special teams score. The Dragons fought but couldn’t slay the North leaders, who now hold a one-game edge over the Chislers.

Warbirds (2-2) 36 – Ferrets (2-2) 30

What a comeback! Trailing late, the Warbirds struck back with two TD grabs from George Pickens to tie it at 30. Then on Monday night, Courtland Sutton hauled in the game-winner to deliver a huge momentum-shifting victory. Side note, Ferrets benched Prescott who scored 18 points on the bench...

Sinistars (3-1) 35 – Lunatics (1-3) 33

Don’t let the record fool you—the Lunatics are no pushover. Goedert (12) and Butker (13) kept them in it, but Patrick Mahomes’ 16-point day carried the Sinistars to a narrow win.

Iron Legion (3-1) 41 – Cocktails (0-4) 34 (OT)

Heartbreak for the Cocktails. Jordan Love forced OT with 12 points, but the Legion had answers: a blocked punt return for a TD and, fittingly, kicker Nick Folk delivering 7 points in overtime to seal it. The Cocktails remain winless despite showing life.

Juggernauts (4-0) 41 – Whales (2-2) 33

The Juggs keep on rolling. Josh Jacobs “Jingleheimerschmidt” punched in two late TDs to complete the comeback after the Whales had surged ahead. Chase Brown had one last shot to keep the Whales alive on Monday but couldn’t break through. Juggs stay undefeated atop the East.

Krauts (2-2) 25 – Killers (1-3) 20

The defending champs clawed back to .500 with Stafford tossing 12 points. The Killers’ RB woes continue—Chubb was blanked, and Dobbins rushed for 101 yards but never found paydirt. That lack of scoring cost them dearly.

What a wild week! Defensive scores, blocked kicks, and multiple last-minute wins made Week 3 one to remember. Let’s break it down.

Dragons (1-2) – 29 | Wrecking Crew (0-3) – 16

The Crew’s nightmare season continued, and this one stung. The Dragons got TDs from both Etienne and Kyren Williams, while the Crew committed a colossal coaching blunder. Benching Tre Tucker and Will Lutz cost them 14 points…which would’ve flipped the final to 30-29 Crew. Instead, they fall to 0-3. Doh!

Animals (3-0) – 34 | Killer Bees (2-1) – 23

The showdown of unbeatens didn’t disappoint. Down 23-16 late Monday, the Animals needed Lamar Jackson and “Flying” St. Brown to deliver—and of course, they did. Lamar threw three TDs, St. Brown added another, and the Animals pulled out a dramatic 34-23 win to stay perfect.

Chislers (2-1) – 28 | Warbirds (1-2) – 25

Here we go again—Chisler Luck. Trailing 25-16 heading into Monday, they needed two TDs from Mark Andrews. He grabbed one early, but time ticked away…until 29 seconds remained, when Andrews hauled in his second. Chislers steal another improbable win.

Ferrets (2-1) – 37 | Dominators (1-2) – 20

The Dominators got early sparks from Tony Pollard and the Seahawks D, but Ferrets fought back behind Aubrey’s 6 points and McBride’s TD. Russell Wilson then faceplanted for the Dominators, tossing balls into tunnels instead of to receivers. Gibbs padded the Ferrets’ lead Monday, sealing a 37-20 win.

Sinistars (2-1) – 41 | Killers (1-2) – 26

Jonathan Taylor put this one away quickly with three rushing TDs. The Killers not only lost on the scoreboard but lost key pieces: Mike Evans (hamstring, weeks) and JK Dobbins (Achilles, season). Brutal day all around.

Lunatics (1-2) – 40 | Cocktails (0-3) – 18

The expansion Lunatics earned their first-ever franchise win, and it was a statement. Montgomery (12) and Bateman (6) sealed it late, while the Cocktails’ QB mess continues—Jayden Daniels sat hurt, Love scored only 4, and the rest of the squad sputtered. Cocktails drop to a shocking 0-3.

Juggernauts (3-0) – 33 | Iron Legion (2-1) – 30

The Juggs remain undefeated, this time behind Jordan Mason’s 12 points and another 11 from golden-footed kicker Spencer Shrader. Legion got 13 from Geno Smith but came up just short. Juggernauts now sit atop the East.

Whales (2-1) – 47 | Krauts (1-2) – 44

Game of the year candidate. The Krauts got two defensive TDs from the Vikings and still lost. The Whales only scored with three players, but they were monsters: Jalen Hurts (18, including a hookup with A.J. Brown) and kicker McLaughlin (17!) carried the load. Henry had a chance to steal it late but was stuffed at the goal line four straight times—then fumbled it away. Heartbreaker for the champs.
