CFFL Week 2

 Here is the recap of Week 2 action!

In the North, both the old guards got back in the win column against the young bucks.  The Crew beat the Animals 33-30 in a nail biter.  After Bryce Young and "Turd" Ferguson combined for 24 points the Crew had to dodge bullets like Neo as Animal RB Kenneth Walker had multiple runs inside the 1 yard line but the Crew goal line D held!...Chisler QB Matt Stafford was able to complete the comeback against the Ferrets with 16 points on MNF for the 24-19 win!  Ferrets got zero points from "Jack-O-Lantern" Head and nothing from the Grill!  

In the South...Stigmatas would go down to the Killer Bees as they only could score points from their kicker.  QB Caleb Williams went out with a scary injury that turned out to be just a hammy and should be back, but set the tone for the game.  Mahomes had 12 points in the 36-15 win for the Bees as he appears to be fully recovered from his injury last year...Dominators ended on top against the Warbirds 35-26 thanks to 2 big TDs from CeeDee Lamb.  Warbirds B squared back field of Bijan and Bucky came up goose eggs.  

In the East...Cocktails can't seem to get it going after a 3-11 season last year, they are starting this year 0-2.  This week the Juggernauts got big games from QB and Kicker as Dak scored 16 and McLaughlin scored 13 in the 35-24 win...The Krauts goosed stepped through the Sinistars 43-25 behind 26 combined points between their pair of 49ers, Purdy and McCaffrey.  Sinistars Taylor had 2 more TDs in the loss.

And in the West...Iron Legion MVP QB Josh "Mother Fucking" Allen scored 20 or more points for second consecutive week (24), but this time the Legion got the win, 49-16 over the Lunatics.  Kicker Aubrey had 13 points as well...The Whales and Killers lit up the score board but the Whales came out victorious, 51-42!  JSN was the key to the victory scoring 3 times!  Rumor has it owner of the Whales didn't see any of the scores.  He was seen in Vegas on various roulette tables during the game...

Player of the Week:  Josh Allen, QB, Legion - 24 points

Wrecking Crew (1-1) at Stigmatas (0-2) (+6) - Will Caleb play? If not it's Malik Willis...lay the points!

Animals (1-1) at Killer Bees (1-1) (-7) - QBs for Animals not threatening, but they sill have Montgomery and Walker, and I'm getting 7 points?  Take the points!

Chislers (1-1) at Warbirds (1-1) (PK) - Line is probably right.  I see a Warbird victory here as Stafford struggles some against a tough D.

Ferrets (1-1) at Dominators (2-0) (-4) - Ferrets bounce back this week and hand Dominators first loss.  Take the Ferrets and the points!

Sinistars (1-1) at Killers (0-2) (+4) - Killers wasted 42 points last week in loss.  Sinistars bounce back.  Take the points.

Cocktails (0-2) at Lunatics (1-1) (+1) - Flip a coin with these lineups.  I'll lean Cocktails to get their first win of the season.

Juggernauts (1-1) at Legion (1-1) (-8) - It's the Juggs turn to face the Josh Allen buzz saw.  8 points is a lot, but I think you lay them anyway!

Krauts (2-0) at Whales (2-0) (+3) - Match up of the week with both teams undefeated.  But with Daniels out and possibly starting Kyler Murray, I think the Krauts cover easy.
