CFFL Week 6

Week 6 action...Not as crazy as last week, but still some good story lines...Teams pulling away in their divisions and no more undefeated teams!

Wrecking Crew 31  Killer Bees 28 - Crew dodge bullets once again after they got 12 from Maye and 12 from Swift (score once, score twice, but not thrice).  Bees had Mahomes later, and he was scoreless, and on MNF, McLaurin went out with season ending injury.  Speaking of injuries, the Crew traded for stud Davante Adams, hurried him into the lineup and he would rupture his hammy and will be out 6-10 weeks.  Balls!

Ferrets 29  Stigmatas 20 - 16 big points from Trevor "Jack-o-lantern Head" Lawrence set the tone for this game (death from above).  The Jacksonville Ferrets are putting a lot of their hopes on the Jags.  This could come back to haunt them during this Spooky Season...

Animals 25  Warbirds 16 - Animals managed to get two scores from Kenneth Walker (score once, score twice, but not thrice) to seal the game against the Warbirds.  Pickens and Watson couldn't find the endzone Sunday night for the Warbirds, which was disappointing.

Chislers 26  Dominators 16 - Chislers hand the Dominators their first loss of the season behind 8 points from Stafford and 12 points from kicker Matt GAY!  Snoop Huntley came back down to earth this week scoring only 4 points for the Dominators.

Krauts 32  Iron Legion 21 - Krauts move to 5-1, alone now in first place in the East.  They were led by McCaffrey's 2 scores late in the game for the win.  The Legion didn't get much help from their WRs other than 6 from Olave, plus kicker Aubrey had 1 measly point.

Lunatics 33  Juggernauts 20 - Lunatics upset the Juggernauts 33-20 getting their second win of the season.  Jordan Love scored 10 points and kicker Smack "My ass and call me Sally" kicked in 11 points, plus Golden scored a 10 point connection.  In fact, 27 of the 33 Lunatic points came from Packers.

Coctials 25  Killers 11 - Killers holding fire sales of players that apparently are primed to get hurt...Tyler Shough finally played up to expectations for the Cocktails, scoring 18 points!

Whales 25  Sinistars 19 - Sinistars were up 13-12 late in the game when they would strike again with a Kittle TD catch making the score 19-12  Whales would close the gap with 5 points from Pineiro "Squiggly Mark", making the score 19-17.  2 TD passes late by Whales QB Jayden Daniels would give the Whales the victory and a 3 game lead in the West!

Player of the Week:  Tyler Shough, QB, Cocktails - 18 points
