CFHL Week 6

Week 6 action and the Assassins still leading the league by 7 points!

Goon Crew vs. Who Gives a Puck 4-3

Crew managed to hang on against the defending champs and come away with a close win. Goalies really let down the Crew, but thankfully they had good production from their skaters winning goals, assists, hits and blocks! Travis Konecny had 5 goals and David Pastrnak had 5 helpers in the win!

California Raisins vs. Assassins 3-3-1

It looked like the Assassins were finally going to lose down 4-2-1 heading into the final day of the week. But Sunday belonged to the Assassins as they got a PPP from Charlie McAvoy to break the tie in PPP and Bussi got the win to tie Goalie wins. Almost Raisins, almost...

Krampus Carols vs. Checkers 5-2

In typical Checker fashion they dominated in hits (53-16) and blocks (31-16) but that was it. Their reliance on hits and blocks might be coming back to bite them. Krampus had 23 assists including 6 from Kucherov who had another amazing week. Goalie Vasilevskiy had 3 wins and a SSV% of .930 for the Krampus as well.

Space Monkey vs. Slapshots 4-2-1

This game was closer than the score indicated as the Space Monkeys edged the Slapshots by only 1 goal, 1 block and they tied in goalie wins. Alex Tuch led the Space Monkeys with 4 goals for the week while Noah Dobson had 7 blocks.

Greek Empire vs White Mambas 3-2-2

The two teams tied with goals at 12 a piece, despite the fact that the Empire got 6 goals from the blue line between defenseman Dahlin and Raddysh. Both teams also tied in goalie wins at 2 each, with every goalie getting a win. Gustavsson was the best of the bunch notching a .967 SV% for the Mambas.
