🏈 CFFL Week 12 Recap
Two weeks to go.
Division games are back.
Playoff dreams and spoiler missions are officially in full swing.
Here’s what went down in a pivotal Week 12:
Wrecking Crew (3–9) — 39
Cocktails (2–10) — 34
The battle of two once-proud franchises… now simply ready for the calendar to flip. Still, the Crew put together their best scoring output of the year, getting contributions across the roster. Tyler “Loopty” Loop led the way with 11 points as the Crew held on late.

Lunatics (3–9) — 25
Dragons (5–7) — 3
Ugly doesn’t begin to describe the Dragons’ offensive performance. Their only points came from three XPs by Elliott. Meanwhile, the Lunatics benefited once again from the FG machine known as Harrison Butker, who nailed 15 points—all field goals. Dragons’ playoff hopes take a major hit.

Legion (6–6) — 15
Dominators (5–7) — 7
Another low-scoring rock fight. The Legion stay alive in the playoff chase despite QB J.J. McCarthy putting up a donut. Michael Pittman “Eh?” was the difference-maker with a TD grab. Across the league, QB play this year continues to be… an adventure.

Whales (8–4) — 35
Warbirds (7–5) — 26
In a showdown of division leaders, the Whales soared, shooting down the Warbirds behind a 16-point outing from Jalen Hurts. Jaxon Smith-Njigba continues his breakout, catching two TDs. The Whales strengthen their hold on the West.

Killers (6–6) — 40
Killer Bees (6–6) — 24
A massive win for the Killers, who put up 40 and keep their playoff hopes buzzing. TDs from Dortch “On Football,” Tez Johnson, and Jakobi Meyers powered the victory. Caleb Williams had 12 for the Bees, but it wasn’t enough in a must-have game.

Ferrets (7–5) — 50
Juggernauts (7–5) — 14
The Ferrets delivered a statement win—dropping a clean 50-burger and making a hard charge toward the postseason. Jahmyr Gibbs was electric with TD runs of 49 and 69 yards plus a receiving TD for 18 points. Dak added 14 more through the air. Juggernauts were overwhelmed start to finish.

Krauts (7–5) — 42
Chislers (7–5) — 30
The champs are heating up at the perfect time. Stafford (12), Derrick “King Rat Tail” Henry (12), and McCaffrey (6) powered a 42-point showing as the Krauts push toward a title defense. Meanwhile, Chislers QB Josh Allen—fresh off tying the single-game scoring record—went from 30 straight to zero. Brutal swing.

Animals (8–4) — 25
Sinistars (9–3) — 20
Could this be a “Fantasy Bowl” preview? The Animals took down the league’s top team despite Lamar Jackson’s goose egg. The Sinistars didn’t fare much better—Mahomes managed just a single point. Defensive slugfest, playoff implications everywhere.
🏆 CFFL Power Rankings — Week 12 Edition
1️⃣ Sinistars (9–3)
Still the top dog despite the loss. The offense sputtered this week, but this is the deepest, most consistent roster in the league. Still the team to beat.
2️⃣ Whales (8–4)
Another strong showing and a huge win over the Warbirds. Jalen Hurts is heating up, and JSN is becoming a star. The West is theirs to lose.3️⃣ Krauts (7–5) ⬆️
The champs are surging, winners of three straight and averaging 43 points over the last two weeks. This is the team nobody wants to see in the postseason.
4️⃣ Animals (8–4)
Nice bounce-back win over the league leaders after dropping two straight. Still have questions at QB, but the roster is too talented to fade.
5️⃣ Chislers (7–5) ⬇️
After back-to-back 40+ point weeks, they crash hard as Josh Allen goes from historic to invisible. High ceiling, but dangerously inconsistent.
6️⃣ Warbirds (7–5)
Plenty of firepower, but no longer the clear favorite in the South. Defense is becoming a concern. Still a playoff-caliber team, but trending sideways.
7️⃣ Ferrets (7–5) ⬆️⬆️
Dropped a 50-burger on the Juggernauts and look like a wildcard threat no one wants to deal with. Gibbs + Dak is becoming deadly.
8️⃣ Juggernauts (7–5) ⬇️
Riding the line between dangerous and disappointing. When Mac Jones is your heartbeat, variance is guaranteed. Defense let them down in Week 12.
9️⃣ Killer Bees (6–6)
Caleb Williams is keeping them afloat, but they’ve lost two big games in a row. They’re still right in the wildcard mix, but trending wrong at the wrong time.
🔟 Killers (6–6) ⬆️
Big 40-point performance and staying alive in the hunt. Still unpredictable, but they’re fighting hard and can play spoiler—or sneak in.
1️⃣1️⃣ Legion (6–6)
The most confusing team in the league. Loaded stars, zero consistency. They survive thanks to Pittman, but will need actual QB points to make a run.
1️⃣2️⃣ Dominators (5–7)
Still mathematically alive. Still allergic to quarterback scoring. Hard to rank higher until something changes there.
1️⃣3️⃣ Dragons (5–7) ⬇️
Three points? Three. Points. Needs an offensive revival ASAP or the season is cooked.
1️⃣4️⃣ Lunatics (3–9)
A weird, uneven team… but Butker is a cheat code. Capable of random chaos but not much else.
1️⃣5️⃣ Wrecking Crew (3–9)
Best scoring week of the season. Too little, too late, but at least the offense woke up.
1️⃣6️⃣ Cocktails (2–10)
Nothing is working. The losing streak continues, and Week 12 was another missed opportunity.
